The country cabin is our bestselling small cabin and its easy to see why. These rustic yet very comfortable cabins are extremely versatile and can fit in any landscape. They are great cabins for weekend getaways, studios, hunting camps, offices, bed n breakfasts, Airbnb rentals, the list goes on and on. The country cabin features a porch on the gable end, which allows you to use the full width of the building, giving you more interior space. We offer a variety of stain options as well as metal roofing color combinations. The country cabins range in size from 10×16 all the way up to 16×48 and has many available upgrades. - 7 ½’ sidewalls with cathedral ceiling
- PT joist 16” O.C. (2×6” on 14’ or 16’ wide and 2×10 non P.T. on cabins going on crawl spaces to meet code)
- ¾” T&G plywood on floor (unless we are doing laminate floor, then OSB)
- 2×4 studs 16” with OSB sheathing, (house wrap available on all larger cabins)
- 2×4 trusses 24” OC w/ metal truss plates (on 16’ wide we use 2×6 truss material with larger truss plates)
- Treated 5/4 deck boards on porch
- Solid OSB sheeting on roof (plywood on porch) with 15# felt paper & 40 yr metal roof
- Perma Chink Ultra 7 stain and clear coat
- 1 solid Fiberglass door painted to match roof
